We prove you are real, then forget who you are
Euthyna counts people, not clicks. To be counted you have to prove once that you are a real person living at a real address — and the moment that is done, the name and the address are deleted. What is left cannot be turned back into you.
How it works, in three steps
You give a name and an address
Nothing else. No email, no phone number, no password, no account. Your address is what places you in an electorate — it is the only reason it is asked for.
A code arrives in the post
On paper, to that address. A letter is slow, and that is the point: it proves somebody is actually there, which nothing you can type does.
You type it back, and we delete you
Your name and address are destroyed in the same moment the code is accepted. What remains is that one real person in one electorate has a say — with no way back to which person.
Where people are up to
Certifying takes as long as the post does, so at any moment some people are proved and some are still waiting on their letter.

What a pending certification can and cannot do
You can read everything and choose a position before your code arrives. Your answer is held in your own browser until it does — nothing is sent, and nothing is counted yet.
The moment you enter the code, the answer you already made is counted. You do not have to come back and do it again, and you never have to certify a second time.
A vote waiting on a code lives only in the browser you made it in. Clearing your browsing data loses it, and nobody can get it back — because there is nothing stored anywhere that connects it to you. That is the same promise, seen from the awkward side.
